Mrs. Whiteley graduated from Bennington High School and received a BS in Music Education from Sterling College. She is certified to teach K-12 vocal and instrumental. She also has her Level I Orff Certification. She will be pursuing a Masters Degree in Choral Conducting from K-State for the next three years. She has 4 children: Dynae 14, Dacia 12, Dauson 8, and Dakotah 6. Her husbands name is Darren and he teaches Math and runs the computer department at Solomon High School. She is a very active member at First Christian Church of Abilene where she is one of the praise and worship leaders as well as a sponsor for the jr. high and high school youth group. She also enjoys singing, acting, and being involved with Great Plains Theater.
